Richard Kone is the PFA League One Player of the Year for the 2024/25 campaign after a standout season for Wycombe Wanderers.
The Ivorian netted 21 goals and provided four assists in all competitions. Remarkably, it was Kone’s first full season in professional football after joining Wycombe in January 2024 following a trial with the club.
At non-league level, Kone scored more than 120 goals, and his scoring form has continued seamlessly in the EFL.
The dynamic forward saw off stiff competition from the likes of Birmingham City’s Jay Stansfield and Leyton Orient’s Golden Boot winner Charlie Kelman.
