Hayden Hackney has been named the Championship PFA Players’ Player of the Year for 2026.

The Middlesbrough midfielder received the award after being selected by his fellow professionals.

Goalkeeper: Carl Rushworth (Coventry City).

Defenders: Milan van Ewijk (Coventry City), Bobby Thomas (Coventry City), Tristan Crama (Millwall) and Taylor Harwood-Bellis (Southampton).

Midfielders: Hayden Hackney (Middlesbrough), Matt Grimes (Coventry City) and Jack Rudoni (Coventry City).

Forwards: Žan Vipotnik (Swansea City), Haji Wright (Coventry City) and Femi Azeez (Millwall).

Dom Ballard has been named the League One PFA Players’ Player of the Year for 2026.

The Leyton Orient forward received the award after being selected by his fellow professionals.
