OVERVIEW
The Off-Pitch Pathway Scheme (OPPS) is a new joint initiative from the PFA and the English Football League (EFL). The scheme will be administered by League Football Education (LFE).
The scheme creates funded, year-long placements for former players and scholars to gain experience in non-coaching roles at EFL clubs.
OPPS keeps football experience in the game, supports members as they transition into new careers, and helps clubs strengthen their off-pitch departments.
