Course Length

WEEKLY CAMPS

Weeks 1 – 2 (Monday – Thursday)

Weeks 3 – 12 (Monday – Wednesday) – with Friday regional drop-in sessions

REGIONAL SESSIONS

Regional Friday sessions will run from weeks 3 – 10

Insurance for all participants – injury and income protection

When is PFA pre-season?

For Premier League and EFL players, camps will be taking place for 12 weeks throughout summer 2026.

  • Week 1: 29/06 - 02/07
  • Week 2: 06/07 - 09/07 
  • Week 3: 13/07 - 15/07 (regional drop-in sessions - 17/07)
  • Week 4: 20/07 - 22/07 (regional drop-in sessions - 24/07)
  • Week 5: 27/07 - 29/07 (regional drop-in sessions - 31/07)
  • Week 6: 03/08 - 05/08 (regional drop-in sessions - 07/08)
  • Week 7: 10/08 - 12/08 (regional drop-in sessions- 14/08)
  • Week 8: 17/08 - 19/08 (regional drop-in sessions - 21/08)
  • Week 9: 24/08 - 26/08 (regional drop-in sessions - 28/08)

Who is eligible for PFA pre-season?

To be eligible for PFA pre-season, you must be a PFA member and have held a professional contract in either the Premier League or EFL during the 25/26 season.

PFA members playing in an equivalent overseas league or with previous league experience and up to one season out of the football league can also apply (please note: places will be awarded primarily to those playing in the Premier League or EFL during the 25/26 season).

  • U21s – U21 professional players can apply to attend PFA pre-season after the Premier League PDP camp taking place at Loughborough University (click here to apply) from 28th June –1st July.
  • U18s – Scholars are encouraged to attend the Premier League's residential camp, taking place from 28th June – 1st July at Loughborough University (click here to apply).

Can I register to attend more than one week of PFA pre-season?

Yes, players can attend multiple weeks, subject to both eligibility and availability. Official registration will take place in June, and players can select the week(s) they would like to attend.

Will scouts be in attendance at PFA pre-season?

Scouts and club staff are invited to attend PFA pre-season training and fixtures over the course of the summer. Players are also welcome to invite their own contacts on-site for meetings and training / match observations with prospective clubs.

Is there a cost to attend PFA pre-season?

No, PFA pre-season is entirely free for players. Training, board and food / drink is fully-funded by the PFA.
