When is PFA pre-season?

For WSL and WSL2 players, two camps will be taking place in July 2026.

  • Week 1 - Wed 15 July - Fri 17 July
  • Week 2 - Wed 22 July - Fri 24 July
 
Who is eligible for PFA pre-season?

To be eligible for PFA pre-season, you must be a PFA member and have held a professional contract in either the WSL or WSL2 during the 25/26 season.

PFA members playing in equivalent overseas leagues or with previous WSL or WSL2 experience can also apply (please note: places will be awarded primarily to those playing in the WSL or WSL2 during the 25/26 season).

Can I register to attend both weeks of PFA pre-season?

Yes, players can register to attend both weeks subject to both eligibility and availability. 

Will scouts be in attendance at PFA pre-season?

Scouts and club staff are welcome to attend PFA pre-season training. Players are also welcome to invite their own contacts on-site for meetings and training / match observations with prospective clubs.

Is there a cost to attend PFA pre-season?

No, PFA pre-season is entirely free for players. Training, board and food / drink is fully-funded by the PFA.
