UEFA A Diploma 2026/27 | Applications now open

We're pleased to announce that applications for our next UEFA A Diploma course are now open until 18:00 on Thursday 17 September 2026.

Please note you must have the UEFA B Diploma showing on your FAN to apply for this course. If you have completed your UEFA B Diploma with another association and it is not showing on your FAN please contact our team who will be able to help you.

Application Details

To apply for the course, please make sure you have the following documents ready to submit on the application. These documents must be in a pdf format and must be no larger than 2MB when uploading.

  1. An up-to-date Coaching CV (please ensure your date of birth, contact email and phone number is included).
  2. A letter of support or recommendation by a third party which supports your application for the UEFA A Diploma. This letter or recommendation needs to be from either the Academy Manager, Head of Coaching, Manager or CEO at your club or a third party if you are currently between roles. Please note we do not accept letter of recommendations from the PFA or FA. We would like this individual to confirm your role and to express why you would be a good candidate, how long they have known you, and in what context, and understanding of your motivation to achieve the UEFA A Diploma.

UEFA A Diploma Funding Eligibility application

As part of our continued drive to diversify the football workforce, we are continuing to provide our partially funded places programme which can fund a proportion of your course fee.

For the first time this season, we will also be providing Chase fully funded places. This initiative has been created with our partners at Chase to tackle financial barriers that hinder talented coaches by providing funding for those who need it most. If you are awarded a place on this programme, the full cost of your course will be funded by Chase. For more information click here.

In order for your application for to be considered for funding, both the course application and the funding application must be completed before Thursday 17th September 2026 @ 6pm.
