UEFA A LICENCE SENIOR PROS APPLICATION OUTCOMES - FAQS
Is the payment deadline definitely Thursday 13th April 2025? Can I pay installments?
Yes, this is the deadline as the course fees are due a month before the course is due to start in January. No you cannot pay in installments.
Why is the UEFA funding application only open until Friday 24th January 2024 when the application for the course closes past this date?
This is due to the UEFA selection panel making their decisions on scholarships whilst the course application is still open.
As I am a PFA member, can I get access to funding from them?
PFA members can apply for a grant. This funding usually covers up to 50% of your contribution to course fees. There is an annual maximum of £2000 per year and must be considered if multiple courses are undertaken in any year. For more information please use this link - https://www.thepfa.com/players/education/funding

No unfortunately not, due to the funding already being allocated to those who applied
Do I have to be coaching 11v11 during the whole course?
For the full duration of the course, you must be actively coaching a group of players who regularly undertake training and play in organised or competitive fixtures in the 11v11 game within the criteria set (see course requirements section). This is crucial so learners can be assessed on the key elements of the course and be eligible to complete the qualification.
If at any point during the course:
- you leave your coaching role;
- or your coaching role changes such that you no longer meet the Requirements for this course (as set out in the course requirements), you must notify England Football Learning as soon as possible.
If you do not meet the Requirements for a period of three months, we reserve the right to remove you from the course without providing any refund.
Does me being on a reserve list on previous application increase my chances of getting on the course?
Unfortunately, this is not the case. All applications are reviewed & selected on a season by season basis.
Do the course fees cover the accommodation costs?
Yes.
What about if I cannot attend one of the dates on the course I am give?
Please note 100% attendance is mandatory on all parts of the course and if you are not available for these dates, then you would have to pick this up on another cohort. Please note any accommodation or additional costs needed when catching up modules would be at the learner’s expense.
