Golden Boot winner Mohamed Salah takes his place in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year for the fourth time. The Egyptian helped lead Liverpool to their second Premier League title with 29 league goals. He’s one of four players from Premier League Champions Liverpool who feature in the PFA’s top 11.

Virgil van Dijk was a pillar of strength at the heart of Arne Slot’s defence and earns himself a place in the PFA Team of the Year for the fifth time. He’s joined by Ryan Gravenberch, the 23-year-old Dutchman catching the eye of the PFA membership after a string of impressive performances in the Anfield engine room.

Alexis Mac Allister provided five goals and five assists in a standout campaign for the Reds and he alsobsecures a spot in the members’ best 11.

Premier League runners-up Arsenal conceded the fewest goals of any team during the 24/25 campaign, so there’s little surprise to see the Gunners have two defenders included. The reliable William Saliba had another impressive season at the back for Mikel Arteta’s men, which sees him voted in by his peers for the third year running.

He’s joined by teammate Gabriel Magalhaes, the 27-year-old Brazilian who was equally as influential in the Arsenal back line.

Declan Rice continued his impressive form in North London, cementing his place firmly in the Team of the Year after bringing character and composure in the middle of the pitch.

Nottingham Forest secured qualification for a European competition for the first time in 30 years, thanks in no small part to goalkeeper Matz Sels. The Belgian makes the shortlist after recording 13 clean sheets to collect the golden glove. At the other end of the pitch, striker Chris Wood recorded his best goalscoring season in the top flight to date. The New Zealand international had an excellent run of form in front of goal, scoring an impressive 20 league goals.

Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak also makes the cut after an impressive season in the north east. He scored 27 times in all competitions for Eddie Howe’s side, including the winning goal at Wembley to win the EFL Cup.

The final place in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year is taken by Bournemouth’s left back Milos Kerkez. The 21-year-old started all 38 of the Cherries' Premier League games in the 24/25 season, helping them to a club-record total of 56 points in the top flight.
