The Top Six shortlist for the 2024/25 Men’s PFA Young Player of the Year award has been chosen by PFA members. The winner will be honoured on 19 August at the 52nd annual PFA Awards ceremony in Manchester.

Arsenal academy products Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly both feature in the PFA Men’s Young Player of the Year Top Six. Nwaneri, who became the Premier League’s youngest ever appearance maker in 2022 at age 15, had a breakthrough season in red. Rising star Lewis-Skelly also netted a memorable first senior goal for Arsenal against City this season, and played a big part in his side’s runners-up league campaign.
Bournemouth also have two players in the shortlist. 20-year-old Dean Huijsen was a consistent presence at the back and scored a number of crucial goals during his 30 appearances over the season, including a winner against Spurs. His performances earned him a move to Real Madrid at the close of the season. Milos Kerkez has also been recognised by the PFA’s membership after an impressive campaign at left back. The Serbian appeared in every game league game for the Cherries.
Liam Delap earns a nomination after a breakout season in front of goal for Ipswich Town. The 22-year-old scored 12 times over the campaign. Chelsea signed the marksman to bolster their attack.
Rounding off the Top Six nominees is Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers. The dynamic 22-year-oldmidfieldernetted eight times for Unai Emery’s side and rightfully earned his vote from our members.
