The Top Six shortlist for the 2024/25 PFA League Two Players’ Player of the Year award has been chosen by PFA members. The winner will be honoured on 19 August at the 52nd annual PFA Awards ceremony in Manchester.

Notts County have two players in the running for PFA League Two Players’ Player of the Year. Alassana Jatta scored 19 goals for the Magpies, finishing runner-up in the league’s Golden Boot race. He’s joined by 37-year-old veteran teammate David McGoldrick who tallied 17 league goals. He ended the campaign as his side’s second highest scorer.
Colchester United’s Jack Payne also features in the shortlist. His impressive return of eight goals and 10 assists from midfield earned him a nomination from the PFA membership.
Top Six nominee Luke Molyneux scored 16 goals and provided 12 assists for the league’s champions Doncaster Rovers. The winger also celebrated his first career hat-trick this season, his most prolific to date.
Michael Cheek’s maiden campaign in the EFL for Bromley finished with him sat comfortably at the top of the League Two scoring charts. The 33-year-old recorded 25 goals for his side over the campaign.
Final Top Six nominee Nathan Lowe spent the first half of his season on loan at Walsall from Stoke City. Despite only spending half a season at the Poundland Bescot Stadium, his performances and impressive 15-goal tally has been recognised by the PFA membership.
