The Top Six shortlist for the 2024/25 PFA League One Players’ Player of the Year award has been chosen by PFA members. The winner will be honoured on 19 August at the 52nd annual PFA Awards ceremony in Manchester.

League champions Birmingham City have two players nominated in the PFA League One Players’ Player of the Year Top Six. Jay Stansfield recorded an impressive 19 goals to help return Chris Davies’ side back to the Championship.
He’s joined by Japanese international Tomoki Iwata whose standout performances in midfield didn’t go unnoticed by the PFA membership in his maiden campaign for the club.
Leyton Orient’s talisman and League One Golden Boot winner Charlie Kelman also features in the shortlist. The 23-year-old QPR loanee topped the scoring charts with 23 goals, including two in a play-off semi-final against Stockport.
An incredible campaign by Top Six nominee Richard Kone saw him finish the season as Wycombe Wanderers’ highest scorer with 18 goals. In a memorable first full professional season, the 21-year-old also earned his first international call-up for the Ivory Coast U23s.
Barnsley attacker Davis Keillor-Dunn also earns a nomination from his league peers. The 27-year-old scored 18 goals in a stellar season for the Tykes.
The final Top Six nominee chosen by League One players is Peterborough United’s Kwame Poku. The all-rounder produced a notable 12 goals and eight assists from the wing in his fourth season for the Posh.
