The Top Six shortlist for the Men’s 2023/24 PFA Young Player of the Year award has been chosen by PFA members. The winner will be revealed at the PFA Awards on 20 August at the Manchester Opera House.

Players have voted for their standout performers from the Premier League 2023/24 campaign, with nominees set to be honoured on 20 August at this year’s PFA Awards ceremony in Manchester.
Bukayo Saka is in contention for back-to-back Young Player of the Year titles after winning the award last year. Arsenal’s talisman contributed 16 goals and nine assists from the wing over the season.
Cole Palmer is among the Top Six nominees after a standout season for Chelsea with 22 goals and 11 assists. The 22-year-old had his most productive season to date with more goal involvements registered than any other player in the Premier League.
Kobbie Mainoo’s breakthrough season for Manchester United has also earned him recognition from his peers. He capped off the domestic season with a winner at Wembley in the FA Cup Final against neighbours Manchester City.
Mainoo’s teammate Alejandro Garnacho also makes the Top Six after another impressive campaign for the Red Devils saw the Argentine net double figures in all competitions.
Brighton and Hove Albion’s João Pedro also features in the Young Player of the Year Top Six shortlist. The versatile forward led a successful campaign for the Seagulls, netting 20 goals in all competitions.
Michael Olise is in the running after a very promising 2023/24 campaign for Crystal Palace. The midfielder scored 10 goals and provided six assists in just 19 appearances for Oliver Glasner’s side.
