The PFA has announced the winners of January’s Fans’ Player of the Month competition.
Liverpool youngster Conor Bradley takes home the award for the Premier League after edging out competition from City’s resurgent Kevin De Bruyne and on-form Julian Alvarez. The 20-year-old full-back registered five assists in January and scored his first senior goal against Chelsea in the Reds’ 4-1 victory at Anfield. The goal was voted Liverpool FC’s Goal of the Month, and Bradley has also been awarded the club’s own player of the month prize for January.
In the Championship, Leeds United’s Daniel James wins the award. James led an impressive January campaign, helping the Whites secure 12 points from four matches. He ended the month with three goals – helping him hit double figures for the season – with Leeds sat second in the league behind leaders Leicester City.
League One winner James Collins’ bagged five goals in six league games for Derby County. The Rams’ number nine is also up for the EFL’s League One Player of the Month competition and has 13 goals to his name for the season so far.
Stockport County’s Connor Lemonheigh Evans’ recent run in League Two has seen him contribute to the side’s wins over Walsall and Doncaster Rovers – he contributed a goal and assist in the latter in a 5-1 win.
In the Women’s Super League, Arsenal’s Caitlin Foord takes home the Fans’ award with a goal bagged in each of the side’s wins over Liverpool and Everton. She contributed to the team’s unbeaten run in January.
