Elliot Lee has won the PFA League Two Fans’ Player of the Month award after putting in a series of excellent displays for Wrexham in October.
Lee offered a vital spark in the final third for Phil Parkinson’s men to maintain their outstanding start to the League Two season.
The 28-year-old secured the Fans’ Player of the Month award after finishing ahead of Stockport County duo Isaac Olofe and Fraser Horsfall along with Notts County’s Macauley Longstaff, Mansfield’s Davis Keillor-Dunn and Salford City’s Matt Smith.
Lee started Wrexham's drive up the table in their comeback win over Salford. Smith had put City two goals to the good before Lee found the back of the net to get his side back in the game.
Late goals then secured a vital victory for the Welsh outfit in a thriller at the Racecourse Ground.
Lee’s next impact came off the bench against Sutton. Although he only played 18 minutes, he again played a key role in securing three points for his team, scoring an 89th-minute winner.
The midfielder saved his best for last against promotion rivals Notts County. Lee put forward a man-of-the-match display at Meadow Lane, notching the opening goal in a 2-0 win for Wrexham to lift them into the top three.
