The PFA has announced the winners of its Fans’ Player of the Month competition for September.
Mohamed Salah wins the Premier League award after two goals and two assists for the Reds. Salah’s three back-to-back goal contributions helped his side win three of their four Premier League fixtures in September.
In the Championship, Sunderland’s 22-year-old Jack Clarke takes home the award after a stunning six goals in five games. His September run included two braces in away victories to Blackburn Rovers and Sheffield Wednesday.
Striker Colby Bishop is the League One Fans’ Player of the Month, after his four goal involvements and three goals helped Portsmouth maintain an unbeaten start to the season.
Ali Al-Hamadi is League Two’s winner, with four goals and three assists for AFC Wimbledon in September, including a hattrick at home to Tranmere.
