Darren Wilson to step down from role at the PFA

After 20 years of committed service, Darren Wilson has decided the time is right for him to move on from his role of Director of Finance with the Professional Footballers’ Association.

The former Manchester City and Bury player has thanked all his colleagues for their hard work and extended his gratitude to members who have put their trust in him over the last two decades. Darren has also placed on record his appreciation for the cooperation and courtesy extended to him by football’s stakeholders, including the Premier League, English Football League and The Football Association. 

In recognition of his significant contribution domestically to the game, the PFA, its members, and internationally with FIFPRO, everyone at the Union thanks Darren for all his hard work, achievements and dedication. Darren leaves with our best wishes and we wish him luck in his future endeavours.
