PFA Chief Executive Maheta Molango will speak at the World Football Summit 2021, taking place this week in Madrid.
The World Football Summit provides an opportunity for the football industry's leading stakeholders to meet and help shape the future of the beautiful game.
The platform has evolved from a yearly gathering in Madrid, focused on the European market, to a growing series of global on-site and online events covering the challenges and opportunities of the different regions and sectors in the industry.
Held at the Wanda Metropolitano stadium, the home of current LaLiga Champions Atlético Madrid, this year's Summit will host networking events, presentations and Q&As.
On Thursday, PFA Chief Executive Maheta Molango will join Daniel Geey (Sheridans LLP), Emilio Garcia (Chief Legal & Compliance Officer FIFA) and Sarah Gregorius Director (Global Policy & Strategic Relations Women's Football FIFPRO) for a panel discussion on 'Responsibility for Success: Ushering in Sports Governance Over the Next Decade'.
The panel will be examining the future of sports governance and the need to gather a greater understanding of the top-level decisions taken by sports federations.
At the event, the World Football Summit Awards winners will be announced and presented with their accolades. Prize categories include Best Women's Football Initiative, Outstanding Innovation Initiative and the newly created Marcus Rashford Award, in honour of the life-changing campaigning by Manchester United and England forward Marcus Rashford.
