The PFA, working in conjunction with the EFL, has secured a 60% payment from Swindon Town against outstanding wages for June 2021.
After discussions with the EFL and the League Two club, the agreement has led to the players receiving a proportion of last month’s salary from parachute payments.
We are hopeful that the outstanding balance will be paid soon, as work continues to resolve the remaining issues.
This agreement follows the successful payment of full player wages at Sheffield Wednesday following an intervention from the PFA.
