Lee Collins

The PFA is saddened by the news that Yeovil Town captain Lee Collins has passed away aged 32.

Collins began his career at Wolverhampton Wanderers, playing for the academy before making his professional debut for the side in 2007. He would go on to play for Hereford, Port Vale, Barnsley, Shrewsbury, Southampton, Northampton, Mansfield, and Forest Green Rovers.

In 2019, Collins made the move to Yeovil Town, captaining the side and making 35 appearances including 8 this season.

BBC Radio Somerset's Yeovil Town commentator Sheridan Robins told BBC Sport: “"He wore his heart on his sleeve on the pitch and was known for his leadership, he was the epitome of a captain, he did everything he could in that 90 minutes to win the three points."

The thoughts and condolences of everyone at the PFA are with Lee's family and friends
