Harry Kane takes shirt sponsorship for Leyton Orient

Harry Kane

On the 7th January 2011, Harry Kane made his first-team debut for Leyton Orient scoring his first professional goal just a week later. Now, a first of its kind deal has been agreed for Kane to take shirt sponsorship for the 2020/21 season for the club.

PFA member Kane decided that during the troubling times everyone is currently experiencing due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, he wanted to show his support to the club that gave him his professional start.

Kane has generously donated the shirt sponsorship to three very worth causes:

Home Shirt > A thank you to frontline heroes

• Away Shirt > Haven House Children’s Hospice

Third Shirt > Mind, the mental health charity

Kane has said “I was born and brought up only a couple of miles from the stadium and I am really happy to have the opportunity to give back to the club that gave me my first professional start”

“This also gives me the platform to be able to say a big thank you to the many frontline heroes and charities out there who provide care and support during these challenging times.”

Kane is one of many players who are passionate about causes close to their heart. The PFA is very proud of our members who have shown their community spirit during the current covid-19 crisis.
