Bristol Rovers first-team players, Alex Rodman and Alfie Kilgour teamed up with the Community Trust once again to deliver computer tablets to some very special supporters.
In what has been an unprecedented year due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Bristol Rovers and the community trust have joined together to ensure that nobody in their local community is feeling lonely by sending out hundreds of letters to over 70's on the club database, as well as regular phone calls and face to face visits.
As part of the funding from the EFL Tackling Loneliness Project which is funded by the DCMS, the community trust invested in computer tablets to donate to those who have been in isolation or may be struggling during the recent lockdown period. These tablets will enable them to keep in touch with family and friends online, to make sure that they're socially connected to those who are important to them.
