New PFA rules voted through unanimously
Following the PFA's Independent Review, a new governance structure has been outlined for the players' union.
The PFA's Management Committee has worked hard to create the foundations of the new structure, and today at the Annual General Meeting (AGM), delegates voted unanimously in favour of adopting proposed new rules.

Progress Update
In 2018, the PFA commissioned a wide-ranging independent review designed to ensure that we continue to evolve in line with our member's needs.
Since the review's conclusion in July 2020, the Management Committee has been meeting regularly to implement these recommendations. Below, you can find a summary of the substantial progress that has already been made towards their implementation.

Under the new structure, the Management Committee will hand over to a Players’ Board and an Operational Board, and we will be inviting nominations for members to join the Players’ Board.
Those members will be instrumental in taking the PFA forward and will play a crucial role in the union's future.
Finally, we would like to pass our thanks to all delegates who participated in the AGM today.
