Most professional players look to remain in the game in some capacity once their playing careers have finished. But have you considered qualifying as a football referee?
The PFA, in association with the FA and PGMOL, are offering an opportunity to attend a two-day Referee Course which will result in a formal refereeing qualification.
The Course will be led by FA National Referee Manager, Dan Meeson, and former Premier League Referee, Chris Foy, from the PGMOL.
The course will involve Laws of the Game Assessments, Technical Referee Match Incident analysis, Educational Referee Content on a variety of topics, Referee Fitness work and Practical Referee scenarios and challenges.
Following the completion of the course, candidates will be qualified to referee several matches, supported and mentored by accredited FA Core Coaches, and will return for a ‘call-back’ session in mid-February 2020, dates and location to be confirmed.
If you are interested in registering for this course or require any further information, please email Richard Jobson: firstname.lastname@example.org or call the main office on 0161 236 0575.
