It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we learn of the passing of former England, Chelsea and Manchester United player Ray Wilkins.

Wilkins passed away age 61 after suffering a heart attack.

The midfielder became a legend at his boyhood club Chelsea, making his first-team debut in 1973 age 17 and was made club captain age 18.

After playing 179 games for the blues, he moved to Manchester United in 1979 where he went on to make 160 appearances and lift the FA Cup in 1983.
