Former PFA member Peter Mitchell flew over from Northern Ireland to deliver a series of inspirational talks to players in clubs across the north of England.
Peter, a former Premier League professional with Leeds United lost both his career and the use of his legs in a tragic car accident in which the three other players involved walked away unscathed.
He has since reconstructed his life and delivers an inspirational presentation chronicling his battle to survive, regain his independence and develop new career and life aims.
Pictured above, Peter visited Premier League scholars at Huddersfield Town where he recounted his 15 year journey to recovery and fielded questions from the players.
He has also visited Blackburn Rovers U23s and spoke as part of a PFA ‘Take Control’ transition support workshop facilitated by Paul Raven.
