Midland football clubs are uniting for a charity football match to support former Birmingham City player Jamie Sheldon in his fight against cancer.
Jamie, 26, is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment after being diagnosed with cancer in November 2017.
Sutton Coldfield will play Stratford Town in a fundraising fixture at Coles Lane on Sunday March 18th, kick-off at 2pm. Entry to the match is a donation to support Jamie and his family.
As well as the game, money will also be raised on the day by the auctioning of prizes.
Since Jamie’s diagnosis many of his former clubs, including Sutton, Stratford, Chasetown, Hednesford, Leamington, Redditch and Solihull, have come together to raise money to help with treatment and recovery.
The PFA will continue to support Jamie and offer him our very best in his treatment.
