James McKeown has been voted the League Two PFA Bristol Street Motors Fans Player of the Month for October by football fans across the country.
In a vote run by fan engagement experts, Snack Media, the Grimsby stopper won with a 35% of the vote for October, beating Northampton’s Matt Crooks, who finished in second place with 22%.
In the fourth of five divisional votes carried out over seven days, supported by top flight football clubs and press, it was clear that McKeown’s solid performances over the last month – in which he kept five clean sheets in five games - has resonated with supporters up and down the country.
