Martha Harris has been named the 2014 PFA Women’s Young Player of the Year.
Last year saw Kim Little crowned the first ever PFA Women’s Player of the Year and now Harris who played for Notts County (formerly Lincoln Ladies) has received the first ever Young Player award in the Women’s category.
The 19 year old has received the accolades from her fellow PFA members in a season that has ended with her being transferred to Super League champions Liverpool.
Harris impressed her new Liverpool manager Matt Beard during last season. She was part of the Notts County (formerly Lincoln Ladies) defence that only conceded 15 goals throughout the whole season, the second best record in the Super League.
