PTLLS & CTLLS

For those members who may look towards working within the Further Education or Adult and Community Education sectors in the future, PTLLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector) and CTLLS (Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector) are awards that provide an introduction to teaching and training adults.

PTLLS is an essential first step towards practitioner status - a licence to teach in the Further Education sector in the UK. Following the successful completion of PTLLS you can advance to the second step, CTLLS course.

Current Education Manager at Notts County Football in the Community and ex Aston Villa and Stoke City centre forward, Martin Carruthers has followed this pathway. "PTLLS, CTLLS and DTLLS (Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector) was a pathway I followed into education which now enables me to deliver a number of our education programmes here at Notts County"
