PFA Fans' Player of the Month

The Head of Legal will act as The PFA’s lead legal executive, with responsibility for supporting and managing all legal issues relating to the organisation. They will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer to provide expert advice and assistance when necessary. The successful candidate will also act as Board Secretary for all the PFA boards and board subcommittees.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the PFA’s new Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be accountable for driving operational efficiency, effective business change and planning activity. This will include governance, change management, operations, technology, safe-guarding, estates & resources and risk management.

Mark Jules is a PFA coach educator who joined the players’ union after a 12-year stint as Centre of Excellence Manager and Head of Coach Development at Chesterfield. With the launch of the Coach Index, a joint initiative between the PFA and our Professional Game Partners, we caught up with Mark to find out all about how it works, who it’s for and why he thinks it will improve diversity and make the game work better.

The Premier League, The FA, EFL, LMA and PFA have collaborated to create the Coach Index, a self-registration system providing black, Asian, mixed heritage and female coaches with access to information about employment and development opportunities within professional football.

The FA, Premier League, EFL and Professional Footballers Association (PFA) have today announced a new joint action plan on understanding, promoting and protecting brain health. 

The PFA Vertu Motors Fans’ Player of the Month award nominations for November have been made, with six players from each of the top five professional leagues in England being shortlisted for their outstanding performances in November.
