PFA Chief Executive Maheta Molango will speak at the World Football Summit 2021, taking place this week in Madrid.

The PFA is deeply saddened by the passing of former Tottenham Hotspur and England striker Jimmy Greaves, aged 81.

After more than 15 years as a professional footballer, former Lioness and Brighton and Hove defender, Fern Whelan, joined the PFA earlier this week, following her retirement last season. 

In his first appearance on The Athletic’s Business of Sport Podcast, PFA Chief Exec, Maheta Molango, told journalists Mark Chapman and Matt Slater he was ‘amazed’ how often people talk about change in football without consulting the players themselves.
