Players past and present can access a nation-wide network of over 100 fully-trained counsellors many of whom have played professional sport and understand the emotional roller-coaster that this entails.

The union has been addressing issues of emotional well-being and addiction for over 14 years and the nationwide counsellors network is an additional provision to the support provided by the Sporting Chance Clinic.

The combination of these services offers players a comprehensive and dedicated team of people and a safe environment to receive support and counselling.
