St. George's Park
The FA’s National Football Centre
St. George's Park is an easily accessible facility, set in 330-acres of Staffordshire countryside, is the home for England’s 24 national teams.
With 11 outdoor pitches, including a replica of the Wembley surface, a full-size indoor 3G pitch, a suite of rehabilitation and sports science areas, and an indoor Futsal sports hall, St. George’s Park provides inspirational training facilities and has already welcomed over 70 domestic and international clubs.
St. George’s Park is the national home for coach education. Since opening over 50 different courses have been delivered across football coaching, safeguarding, medical and refereeing and will help communicate The Future Game philosophy, which outlines a vision for the development of English football.
Sports science and performance is integral to St. George’s Park. Perform at St. George’s Park is a bespoke sports medicine, rehabilitation and human performance facility which combines cutting-edge technology with elite medical expertise. The three-year partnership between Perform and the PFA means up to 900 PFA members will be able to receive residential rehabilitation with Perform. Players are able to spend four days of intensive rehabilitation at Perform while staying at the on-site Hilton hotel.
Treatment is undertaken by the specialist Perform team that includes sports medicine doctors, physiotherapists, sports scientists, strength and conditioning specialists and soft-tissue therapists. Treatment is available to all PFA members including those in a club contract, ex-professional and retired players. This offers the chance to undertake recovery in fresh surroundings with a new assessment of injury and treatment plans.
