Ivan Cavaleiro wins November's PFA Bristol Street Motors Fans' Player of the Month
Wolverhampton Wanderers’ forward Ivan Cavaleiro has been named November’s PFA Championship Bristol Street Motors Fans' Player of the Month.
The awards recognise the achievements of the best footballers in the country’s top four divisions – the Premier League, Championship, League One and League Two.
The monthly winners are voted by the public after a panel selects a shortlist of six players from each league.
Cavaleiro scooped the award ahead of Albert Adomah, Willy Boly, Leon Clarke, Barry Douglas and Matěj Vydra who were also nominated.
Wolves’ Portuguese winger triumphed with 24% of the vote, edging out second-placed Albert Adomah of Aston Villa (21%).
The full list of contenders from the final shortlist polled were as follows:
- Ivan Cavaleiro (Wolves) - 24%
- Albert Adomah (Aston Villa) - 21%
- Leon Clarke (Sheffield United) - 20%
- Matej Vydra (Derby County) - 15%
- Barry Douglas (Wolves) - 12%
- Willy Boly (Wolves) - 8%
