English football pays tribute to Queen Elizabeth II

Players, clubs and sporting bodies from across the country have paid tribute to Her Majesty The Queen, Elizabeth II, the UK's longest-serving monarch. 

A minute's silence was held at Manchester United, Arsenal and West Ham's Europa League and Europa Conference League matches yesterday evening. West Ham United fans sang 'God Save The Queen' at the end of their minute's silence.

As the UK enters a period of national mourning, the Premier League, WSL, and EFL have announced that their fixtures this weekend, including Monday evenings game, are cancelled, with all professional football in England postponed as a mark of respect.

The PFA's condolences go to the whole of the Royal Family, following the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. We join the nation in mourning her loss.
