Through our association with FIFPro, the PFA works together with other football unions across Europe and around the world to proactively promote and protect the health of professional footballers.
Together we are working in collaboration with the Amsterdam University Medical Centre on a 10-year project monitoring the health of male professional footballers both before and after retirement.
As part of the study, the PFA are looking to recruit professional footballers based in England who are aged between 26 and 28 years old.
This is an exciting project that we hope will guide and inform the wider industry on how best to help protect the health and wellbeing of both current and future players.
Players must be:
- Aged between 26-28 years old
- Fluent in English
More Information and Registration
We very much hope you can assist both current and former players by contributing to this important research project. In addition, participants will benefit from health monitoring over the 10-year period, which may also cover time after retirement from the professional game.
