PFA members graduated from the University of Salford yesterday with a ceremony held at the Lowry Theatre, Salford Quays.
Paul Derrick, Jon Worthington, Ali Gibb, Nicky Platt and Kieran Charnock, all former players, celebrated their success in graduating from the 4 year part time BSc Honours Degree in Physiotherapy.
The grades achieved were outstanding with Ali, Kieran and Jon all gaining First-Class Honours.Ali also achieved the highest marks within the part time cohort.
All graduates had secured employment positions before graduating and members emphasised the support of the PFA as being key to their success.
The BSc Physiotherapy Degree has been the most successful in progressing PFA members into full time employment with many working within Premier League and Football League clubs around the country.

Jon Worthington achieved a First-Class Honours, he will be employed at Huddersfield Town AFC.
Nicky Platt achieved a Second-Class Honours, upper division. He has a position at Blackpool FC as the Academy physiotherapist working with the under 18's.
Paul Derrick achieved a Second-Class honours, lower division and will be working at the Spire Hospital in Macclesfield.
Ali Gibb achieved a First-Class Honours. He has received offers from several clubs and is currently determining which option to choose. Ali also got the highest mark amongst all physiotherapy students.
Kieran Charnock achieved a First-Class Honours. He has already secured a job in the NHS and still plays for Chorley in the Conference North.
