PFA extend membership to WSL
The PFA is pleased to announce that membership will be available for all registered FA Women's Super League (WSL) players from the start of the 2013 season.
The announcement will see all players registered for the Women’s Super League eligible to join the PFA, and will also see the inaugural PFA Women's Players' Player of the Year Award feature at the PFA Awards held on April 28th 2013.
PFA chairman Clarke Carlisle said: "It’s perfect timing that this is announced on international women’s day and it should be good both for female players, who will now have the support of a long-established union, and for the PFA in terms of increased membership."
"I think it is fantastic that women players will now be able to join the PFA - it has been a long time in coming."
PFA chairman Clarke Carlisle.
