PFA Members are entitled to financial support from the Education department to undertake nationally recognised qualifications in preparation for life after football.
For all academic or vocational courses that carry a nationally recognised qualification, members can access a grant towards course fees (usually 50% up to a maximum of £1,500 per year) which can be applied for upon completion of the training.
In order to make a claim for funding towards course fees, please send the following information:
- Grant Application form
- Receipts to confirm you have paid in full (official receipts only – handwritten notes or invoices cannot be accepted)
- Copy of certificate confirming completion
Members who are registered as unemployed with the Job Centre, may be entitled to enhanced financial support. Please contact a member of the Education team prior to commencing the training for more information: firstname.lastname@example.org or 0161 236 0637.
