Protect The Game
Offering or accepting any bribes or gifts of any sort related in any way to fixing the result or conduct of a match is extremely serious, against FA Rules and may be a criminal offence.
Say “NO” to any offers made to you.
If you are approached, or suspect that someone you know has been approached, or is involved in match fixing, then you must report it to The FA immediately.
It will help if you keep a record of what happened. Failure to report any such offers may result in an FA charge against you.
Ultimately you have to report any approach to the FA not to be in breach of their rules but the main thing for the PFA is that players protect themselves by reporting it to someone and if you are not sure of what to do then you can speak to the PFA in confidence:
Don't Bet On It
Put simply the main message for players is: 'You are not allowed to place ANY bet on ANY football, ANYWHERE.'
