DAVID O’LEARY
Played for the Gunners for 18 years making a club record 722 appearances. In his time at Highbury he won every domestic honour twice – 2 League Titles, 2 FA Cups & 2 League Cups. In a recent poll he was voted the clubs 14thgreatest player of all time.
PAUL DAVIS
Davis signed for Arsenal in 1978 and played for the Gunners for 17 years. A talented left-footed midfielder, he made his debut in 1980 in the North London derby and within a year he was a regular in the Arsenal side. Davis was an integral part of the successful Arsenal side of the late 1980s, winning the League Cup in 1987 and the First Division in 1989 and 1991 in addition to two FA Cup wins and the European Cup Winners Cup in 1994.
PAT JENNINGS OBE
Goalkeeping legend that represented both sides of North London winning the FA Cup with both teams. Pat played for Spurs between 1964-1977 making 472 appearances after which he moved to Arsenal where over an 8 year period he turned out for the Gunners 237 times.
OSSIE ARDILES
A 1978 world cup winner with Argentina, Ossie joined ‘Tottingham’ straight after and spent a decade in North London becoming a cult hero. He won the FA Cup with Spurs in 1981 & 1982 and the UEFA Cup in 1984. During his playing career he made 221 league appearances scoring 16 goals. He returned to White Hart Lane to take the reigns as Manger during the 1993-94 season till he parted ways in Oct 1994. In Feb 2008 he was inducted into the Tottenham Hotspur Hall of Fame.
The first Derby of the season ended in a resounding 5-2 win for the Gunners so Join us for a wonderful 4 course lunch after which you can sit back with a drink as the boys take to the stage and discuss the history, banter and battles that took place over the years during their careers and what the future holds for both teams and we ask the question......who really is the best team in North London??
